Itinerary
Your driver will pick you up from your hotel in the Khao Sok area at around 06:30 and take you to the starting point of your birdwatching adventure. Pick-up time may vary depending on your hotel location.
Enjoy a short drive through the local Khao Sok area before reaching Khao Sok National Park.
Arrive at the Khao Sok National Park Ranger Center and complete the required registration. Meet your local birdwatching guide and receive an introduction to the route and basic safety information.
Begin your Khao Sok Bird Watching experience along the selected jungle trail.
Walk slowly through the rainforest while listening for bird calls and watching the trees, canopy and surrounding vegetation for movement.
Your guide will help you locate and identify birds in their natural environment. Depending on the route, weather and season, you may encounter hornbills, sunbirds, eagles, woodpeckers and other tropical species.
Take your time to observe the birds and capture photographs without disturbing their natural behavior.
Continue walking through the lush surroundings of Khao Sok National Park while learning about the local ecosystem and the relationship between the rainforest, plants and wildlife.
After completing the selected route, begin walking back toward the ranger station with your guide.
Meet your driver and return to your hotel in the Khao Sok area, arriving at approximately 10:00, depending on the route and local conditions.
